I read online to use white vinegar to neutralize the acid and clean it without leaving any residue. I'll get some tomorrow and try that with cotton swabs. I'm sure it'll smell lovely for a while after
This weekend I got sidetracked over and over again in Tears of the Kingdom.
My weekend consisted of Tears of the Kingdom and lots of wrestling with the Night of Champions pay per view on Saturday and the Double or Nothing one today.
Same thing happened to me, so I am down to just one Wiimote now.
This wekend I played Breath of the Wild for the hour I had of free time.
If you can stand the humidity, it's not like normal hot days in England, you'd like it.
I'd say I preferred the heat in Bangkok to here. Your clothes stick to you.
It's also near impossible to get a cab. So you need to buy a local sim card and use the Grab app.
And they won't sell you a sim card without a passport.
It's been hairy getting back some days.
Huge suite and ocean view though. ❤️ Old colonial opulence at bargain prices for a 5 star hotel.
There's an abnormal heatwave going on there atm, though naturally it's getting progressively hotter, but according to my friend it isn't usually quite so bad.
I finished Claire's campagin in RE2R. May do Leon's. It's no RE4R, but it's still pretty good.
Eating smoked duck that melts in the mouth for breakfast, with crispy croissants.
And great coffee. This is the life.
This hotel has so much character and charm I'll remember Penang as much for the hotel as anything else. It's a colonial era built hotel.
Didn't even get to try the infinity pool on the roof.
It's much cheaper than any of us expected too.
Gonna need a blog with pics when you get back.
Absolutely-fucking-freezing here in the Sunshine State.
GG actually exploring the world, sounds awesome man, enjoy. Me exploring a fake world and loving it.
I played lots of Zelda, it's been Zelda and sports for me lately. Two of my teams are in their respective Finals in hockey and basketball, great time to be a Miami fan.
I feel the exact same way. This gigantic factions full game is a case of NOBODY ASKED FOR THIS. People just wanted TLOU2 multiplayer mode, that's it, we would be happy. This is getting out of hand and now just wasting time when it could be put toward their next game.
and yeah Bungie advice is probably to not make it a game with a clear ending that everyone can enjoy, so that's why it's delayed, to make it never ending carrot on a stick game.
You get more for your money in Penang.
Singapore seems to have a trend of godawful carpet patterns. They all look like magic eye puzzles.
The city looks very rich, its like the skyscraper District of New York or London, but everywhere.
I played Zelda and beat the first temple this weekend. Well, technically it was today, as it was 0:30am, but still.
the first temple didn't impress me. The journey there was much more interesting than the actual temple itself. Everything was very big, enemies were sparse and weak. Not a single key to be found anywhere. The boss battle was inspired though. I guess my expectations of what a dungeon would be in TotK don't match with what we're getting. What we're getting doesn't seem all too different from BotW's giant beasts, save for the fact that the bosses are better.
Like a futuristic city that has beautiful heritage buildings amongst them.
Went to this food center which is this old colonial building in the middle of the city.
You look up and you're surrounded with skyscrapers. Quite surreal.
Had a wanton mee noodle bowl with char siu. The guy at the stall was like 90 years old, slow as hell and took other peoples orders ahead of me. I actually had to intercede, because he didn't seem to take my order.
The food itself was delicious, probably the best representation of the dish I'd had. I would have ordered a whole bowl of wanton soup by itself but the ordering process was such ass I could not be bothered.
5 metres away they sold ice cold fresh sugarcane juice.
Then at 7pm they actually close down the street, set up table and chairs in the middle of the road - and start grilling satay en masses.
It's an amazing experience at first, as night descends these guys slap down racks of chairs hard to get the clueless tourists to move out of the way.
You walk down this thin strip with smoke drifting across your face, stinging your eyes. Once you sit down to eat satay you can barely believe this view. You look up and you're literally in the middle of the city at night, the buildings loom large over you.
There are old colonial buildings next to looming skyscrapers of the future. And you're sitting in the middle of it, the whole ritual of grilling and serving the satay, fire pulsing and sputtering, smoke drifting.
The satay itself is delicious at first but quickly becomes tiresome, so only buy a little. The beef is a bit chewy, everything is a bit greasy.
The night itself, much like most of these countries was ruined by the heat. Once again a shirt was soaked in sweat. Its very stressful when you can't find a toilet.
And their version of Uber screwed us over, never showed up and charged us a no show fee.
I had to Google to make sure you were not in Florida.
