Maybe it's because I'm playing RE3R at the same time which is a crushing disappointment, so it looks better by contrast, but NFS Unbound is much better than I was expecting.
It had better be.

Beat Battlefield Bad Company. Now playing Crysis 2 for the first time (on PS3). Not bad. It's set in 2023. So far pretty spot on.
I don't know what the hell they did with this game though, but it's killing me. These have always been slower-paced games that required a little thinking, but they have slowed this one down to a damn crawl. At first I thought I was just a little impatient after playing Yakuza 0, which throws a million things at you at a minute. But I'm in the second chapter and they're still throwing tutorials at me, and they bury them under a ton of dialogue. This latest literally took 15 minutes to get through, and it's virtually the same investigation and set up scenario that you've already been through a half dozen times in this game, not to mention it's been the core of the entire series for almost 20 years.
Anyway, I think I'm done with it. Maybe it gets better, but slow pace aside, it feels way too similar to the games that have come before it. Even after taking a break from the series for almost 10 years, everything about the game feels stale... except perhaps the inclusion of a surprising amount of casually racist jokes, which I have to admit I've laughed at probably more than anything else in the game.
This morning I picked up a copy of Sonic Colors Remastered for (PS4), which I intend to start playing later today. I never played it before.
It’s been all Final Fantasy XVI for me this weekend. Am loving this game. Combat is a whole lot of fun, story has me intrigued, and the characters are quite well done. Dialog and voice acting are both great.
I've been in a Zelda mood so I am playing Link's Awakening on theSwitch since I never finished it.
I still need to return and finish that as well. Was quite enjoying it too.
Me too
Colors was great. Definitely my favorite 3-D Sonic game.
Been Diabloing this weekend. Beat my first temple in Tears and been trying to progress in HollowKnight after being stuck for a week or so.
