I’m just glad that this whole Microsoft Activision/Blizzard/King acquisition thing is finally over.

Target announced something similar not long ago. They're not entirely doing away with physical media, but most stores will be, and I suspect it's only a matter of time before all eliminate it.
I'm really not a fan of that idea. Outside of games, I don't buy as much physical media as I used to, but I still like owning my favorite movies so I can watch them when I choose as opposed to hunting down what streaming service has them.
Its sad but I'm part of the problem. I started my digital movie collection back in 2020 and never looked back. I started buying digital Switch games so that my children and I can play the same game on two different Switches.
That really sucks to hear. Best Buy and Walmart are where I buy most of my movies and games on physical format.
Should stock up on anime now.
I finished Village which after the shaky start, was great. Seemed to be overtly influenced or even referrencing a number of non-RE games, not unlike 7; but also like 7 it managed to, for the most part, make them into its own. As great as 7 and 8 have been, due to them being less original than RE has been traditionally, I do wonder if they'll stick in the mind as well as previous great REs have.
I tried Foraza Motorsport, but it doesn't seem to work properly with a PS4 controller. I'll try with a wheel lately out of curiosity, but apparently it's difficult to get that working as well. And if I'm playing with a wheel, there are lots of other racing games I'd rather play.
Oh, and the car upgrading system seems monumentally stupid.
