The dual analog aiming ugh. Even if someone or thing is dead center the cursor wildly swings too far.
Then the douchebags crouch.
The human demon ai feels weird. They have their minds overtaken by demons yet still have the wits to tactically flank you and reload weapons.
Genki fucked around and found out.
If they never signed an NDA, I don't see what Nintendo can do about it legally, but I'm sure they can make their life miserable for a while.
I think when they said they had a black market switch 2, isn't that illegal?
Nintendo don’t need no stinkin’ NDA.
Truth be told, I prefer the newer username, but... it seemed silly to just let the old account go.
Also, beaver really is valuable. Speaking of which, I married and had two kids since I was last active on this site using this account (prior to the last post). And just to be clear, since I so rarely post and it's been so long... I'm the non-beaver-possessing person in the marriage.
Huh, well... summon a beaver and it shall appear?
Cheevos can add an extra reason to put more time into certain games. I don;t pursue them like that any more, but I still like to see them, mostely to see what % of other players have gotten them as they indicate how deep into games most people go. I've noticed with narrative driven games the completion percentages are always higher.
So that release date and price for Switch 2 ignore that.
I distinctly remember talking with most of you in the PS2 Era.
It's getting to the point where your kids should join the site as the next generation.
BTW Doom 3 Switch port is excellent, native resolution in both modes and seems to be 60fps.
On the OLED the blacks are inky so the monsters literally come with no warning.
I stumbled across you on Gamespot either shortly before or shortly after the Wii came out. I wasn't going to gaming forums until then.
I've been having quite a few nostagic memories of the Wii lately. It was such a unique and interesting and flawed system. I had a lot of fun with it, and talking with you all about it too.
Well, if you ever end up creating a new account on any other website in the world, I definitely think you should use Beaver of Anger as a username. It just has so much gravitas.
And congrats on the creation and development of a family.
Yep, I think we were all kind of gamespot refugees. After that controversy with Kane and Lynch, The forum took a big hit. Plus if you like the Wii, there wasn't a lot of great conversation to be had there. So I think that's the reason most of us found a path over here.
It wasn't Kane and Lynch that drove me away but when GG left.
I do not want to be on the same site as my kids.
I bought a publication prior to the releases of the Xbox and GC that not only went over the specs and showcased the launch games of those consoles, but also went over the specs and then-current games of the PS2 (and probably also of the DC). That thing got me so hyped up. Rogue Leader, Luigi's Mansion, Dead or Alive 3, Halo, and Project Gotham Racing were so mouth-wateringly good to look at.
Turns out it was a publication from "videogames.com". By the time I checked out that website, it had been renamed to "gamespot.com". I lurked on the forums for quite some time, and finally made an account in May (I think) of 2003. I believe my main haunts in the forums were System Wars and Off-Topic, though several of you guys really kept General Games Discussion going quite well, if I recall, especially after the 360, PS3, and Wii released. GG did a weekly news roundup, and I believe it was PhantomLeo who updated everyone on new Virtual Console games after the Wii released.
I've been playing this walking Simulator called Gray Dawn, it was really cheap on Switch.
I haven't finished it yet, but I would still recommend it so far.
You are a priest in this desolate church in England being accused of murdering 7 children. You're slowly going mad and you don't know whether you're guilty or not.
It has a lot of violent religious imagery so stay away if that offends you.
I have the Switch version which is blurry so play it elsewhere if you have the option.
It reminds me of the Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
Can't chat freely.
I just don't care anymore about any of that, it's so meaningless. And it always was looking back.
I didn't do general news roundups till we formed up on 1up.com blogs.
System wars was funny when people weren't being serious.
