Sony have launched a PS5 rental scheme in the UK??

£11 a month but for a 36 month contract.

My mind is bending even thinking about this. It costs more for ps5 with a disc drive, more for a Pro and more for the VR set.

If you bought games digitally you would lose access as soon as you stop renting and you'd still have to pay for games. Or pay more for the disc drive ver and buy discs you can no longer play once your rental period is up.

Either way you'd have to buy a ps5 once your rental is over if you want access to any of your games.

I guess if you just wanted to try a few Sony exclusives then be done with it, it might work out.

Oh it's going to crash for sure. And there is no way companies are nice enough to give digital discounts, they will use that as an excuse to just raise all prices.
