I am about to finish There is No Game. 7 chapters. the problem with the game is the second chapter is a severe homage to a Lucas Arts point and click which to me almost made me rage quit. There are about 2 in 20 puzzles in that chapter that make any sense whatsoever. After that it gets better with each chapter, but sincerely, this is for point and click adventure enthusiasts only.  It goes places story wise... that's for sure.

Next game: Untitled Goose Game. I've played the first 20 minutes a few months ago, time to give it a serious try before I jump back into a big game, which will probably be Hogwarts.

I redownloaded and started the original Bioshock (well, the free remaster) on Switch.  I bought the trilogy years ago, but never got around to playing them.  I once started one of them, can't remember which one, on PC but don't think I made it past the first 10 minutes.

I'm not good with tense games, so lets see how long I manage to stick with it.

My insurance renewal which i need for work has risen to $3000 this year.

I really don't know what to do. I've got until next Thursday to decide and may have to quit work.

I was at a horror convention in Tampa for a good chunk of the weekend, so I didn't play too much of anything. I squeezed in a few minutes of de Blob, but that was about it.

But since I'm maxed out on paid time off, I've taken today and tomorrow off, and plan to get a little more gaming in.

Seriously, That's insane. What percentage of a hike was that from last year?

I'd take a good look at your income and expenses GG.  My father in law was in a similar situation years ago, where he was very reliant on his car for his income.  When he finally quit the job he looked back and came to the conclusion that all those years he had been working mainly to pay the bills required for him to be able to do that job and whatever income was left was in fact pretty unimpressive.

It's because I claimed for when that lunatic threw a rock at the car. They replaced the car bonnet.

Last year it was $2000

Being self employed sucked. The government has these rules about the insurance cover I need so I can't even get 3rd party instead of comprehensive.

Switch 2 Cyberpunk official pics. Been wanting this game for years.

Also posted loads more videos and pics in the forum, in their respective threads.

DLSS really seems to be doing its job, the image quality is excellent. There are comparisons to Xbox series S, ps4 and PS5 for Streetfighter 6, Hogwarts Legacy and Cyberpunk, in the thread. As well as Mario kart 8 vs World.

I'm curious to see what games will support RT on Switch2.  Cyberpunk doesn't include it, but that's hardly a surprise.  Will it be relegated to fairly simple games, or will Nintendo's main Mario title feature it?

My money is on Nintendo utilizing it for their new Mario platformer.  They managed to include rim lighting in Galaxy, something that shouldn't have been possible on the hardware but played a big part in the visual makeup of that game.  Would be disappointing to see them dial down their ambition.

A Control port would use it definitely.

Well, no game uses Raytracing so far according to DF.

But I think Prime 4 is likely, the reflections were crazy good in the treehouse.

The rumors have said Switch may do ray reconstruction too. I think Cyberpunk is a candidate to use it. Whenever Nvidia show off DLSS and raytracing they usually use Cyberpunk footage.
