Oh it's going to crash for sure. And there is no way companies are nice enough to give digital discounts, they will use that as an excuse to just raise all prices.

I'm usually playing adventure games, but recently I've been on a 2D Metroidvania kick.
And the bosses are beginning to piss me off. I'm exploring, I'm having fun. And then a boss comes along too frequently and bogs everything down.
Some are mildly annoying, some are a massive pain in the ass. Some you have to grind for, some you have to reequip for. Some you have to painstakingly memorise attack patterns.
On a several of these games I'll get to the final boss and I just can't be bothered struggling through just to see the end credits.
So what are your thoughts on bosses? Are they overused? How should they be tuned? Should they ne optional or skip able?
Or should they be Nintendo style 3 hit bosses?
Love bosses. The bigger, the better.
I just beat the final, FINAL boss in Elderand and Gunbrella.
Both fun games, Gunbrella is a touch short but still good.
I'm playing the Company Man right now. Beautiful Visuals and simple but fun combat. I'm a few levels away from the end so it will be a short one. Nice, simple fun.
But the standard Nintendo "3 hitter quitters? Yeah those suck.
It’s been all Monster Hunter Wilds for me. Finished the story campaign and now knee deep in hunting High Rank tempered monsters. The gameplay in this is fantastic. Hitting a monster out of its attack with a charged offset move with the great sword feels amazing. Monster fights are tons of fun in MHW.
Its been a Donkey Kong Country Returns weekend for me, what little time I've played. I probably should have been finished with this about a week ago but have been too busy with work stuff and children's sports.
I feel like the challenge in high rank is still there. Low rank was definitely pretty easy.
