I'd likely play a Yakuza game like I did Shenmue: Play until I found the local arcade and never leave.

Yakuza Zero is a good place to start.

Does it have the best in-game arcade?

GG, you mentioned possible bosses in MK World. I'm curious how that would work. It does appear like Nintendo is treating Mario Kart like a multigenerational gaming event similar to GTA.

One of the DS Mario karts had bosses.

I'd long forgotten about it till I saw a youtube reminder.

You drive about, dodge attacks and collect shells, then launch them at weak points. Other bosses, just spitballling you would chase in a race and try to shoot him to overtake.

I've been playing Greak Memories of Azur.

It's on sale very cheaply these days. I probably shouldn't have waited it out.

It's an action platformer with puzzle elements. But it feels a lot like a simpler 2D Elder Scrolls game.

There's a decent amount of lore, lots of interesting characters to talk too. Quests to pick up, you can cook too and forage items.

It has this multi character mechanic. When I played the demo I was worried it might become too convoluted and annoying. But I'm near the end and it's fine.

Each character has unique abilities but also deficiency in jumping, dodging or swimming.

It looks and sounds very high quality. I just wish it had a decent map.

This weekend I’ve been playing Blue Prince and South of Midnight. Both are really good. Blue Prince is quite a unique game being a rogue like puzzle game. It has me quite hooked. South of Midnight is really good looking and well playing action game with a nice Southern charm to it. It’s no Bayou Billy though. LOL

I've been playing early 80s arcade games: BurgerTime, Super Pacman, Berzerk, Spy Hunter, and Popeye. I played BurgerTime the most this weekend. I also played a half dozen rounds of Pacman CE; I used to be a lot better at this one.

It kind of depends what you're looking for. Zero has the most '80s Sega arcade games. The Man Who Erased His Name has a really good collection of mid-90s arcade games from Sega.

Judgement and Lost Judgement both have a nice assortment of games, and I think Master System games as well.

I played and streamed Kirby Mass Attack this weekend. Not a bad game, but it gets really difficult at times for a Kirby game. The levels are also probably longer than I think they needed to be.

That's cool.

I really wish Sega would sell their arcade games individually or in a collection. I bought all the ones on Switch but that's a tiny amount of them overall.

Well, I think the big rumor right now is we're going to see a Sega streaming service in the near future. It's not genuine ownership, but these days it's probably the best we're going to get.

Yuck! Nope! There are other . . . methods. I'd much rather buy them, though.

So far Blue Prince is the highest rated game of the year.

Yeah, apparently so. Wouldn’t go that far myself but it is a very cool and interesting game. Am quite enjoying it.

This weekend I finished Ninja Gaiden II Black, started Golf Story and returned to Super Mario Galaxy. Galaxy is just so timeless. Amazing game, nearly twenty years later.

I'd like to do anothee full playthrough of Mario Galaxy soon. I 100% it on Wii. Playing through the game with Mario and Luigi was amazing fun. Not sure if I can do it on Switch with a gamepad, though.

The touchpad makes some areas easier. Much easier to grab star bits, too.
