Cave Story

Cave Story is an extremely good Metroid style of game. The actual gun play is more in line with something like Contra or Gunstar Heroes cause of the sheer variety of weapons you aquire and their unique properties. The two styles together make for one sweet combination. There isn't much wrong with it; bosses are great, plenty of secrets to find, good graphics, great music, good replay value. It's about 6-7 hours long with new modes opening up after completion. It never reaches the highs of Metroid so don't go expecting a masterpiece but its one of the better clones I have played.

No full review. I had a lot to write and thats all I need to put for this game. If you like Metroid with a hint of Gunstar Heroes, this is your game.
