Remember Choplifter, fun game from the past, well this remake keeps the traditional gameplay and adds some nifty graphics and new missions. You fly the copter, shoot down enemies and pick up civilians then make your way back to your base all while monitoring your gas. Missions are varied, some are classic, some have zombies, some are escapes where you simply fly to one end as fast as possible and others are attack missions. There is about 5 hours of content with unlockables. The gameplay is classic but frustrating. They start added all sorts of attacks that come from the backgrounds, levels start getting filled with so much enemy fire that it almost became better to simply turbo your way through it. To me it was too simple a game but something kept me hooked, it needed much more work to really be considered one of the better classic remakes. |
