Hamsterball is basically a Super Monkey Ball knockoff that I got for free on PS Plus. The game offers 30+ levels of decent ball rolling fun. You maneuver a hamster in a ball through crazy courses, some leading you in gravity defying tracks. The levels are all pretty good and for some reason rolling a ball down a crazy twisty track filled with obstacles is always kind of fun. That said this is clearly an inferior version of Super Monkey Ball. There are far fewer tracks and they are not as interesting. You do get three different balls to choose from, one offers a speed burst, one a battering ram type move and some other one I forget what it did, who cares. These allow very tiny alternate paths so you can basically ignore it. It was free for me, I played it for about 2 hours and beat it. Didnt hate it, didnt love it, I enjoyed my time with it. |
