This is Sonic Rush with a Colors make over. It basically has the same story as in the Wii game but this one has text based cutscenes where ALL of Sonic's shitty friends show up and add nothing to the "story". The game takes to all the same worlds but of course now all 2D and all just like Rush. The powerups fit in decently but they never feel as an integral part of the game like they do in the Wii version. I loved the Wii version cause there were whole levels built around using the powers, here you can still get around just boosting a lot and only using powers in specific spots. Also the powers slow down the action rather than adding to it. I felt the other Rush games were better, plus the third time around it is starting to feel repetitive. Bosses are the worse of any Rush game. Music is taken directly from the Wii so the soundtrack is pretty cool. Its a fine Sonic portable experience but I would recommend the other Rush games first. |
