Not so long ago in a galaxy really close Lucasarts released this turd and went out of business. Any charm and uniqueness that the first game had has long since gone, all that is left is a poor GoW clone. Something went wrong cause I do not remember the first game being this poorly designed nor this short. The game is like 5 hours long with a story so bad you can find better SW fanfiction on a cartoon network forum. What really pissed me off were the horrible boss battles. Super generic but insanely long and repetitive. You know the giant monster in the center of the screen boss battle, the one where its hands sweep the stage or try to stomp you, imagine the most crappy version of that which lasts about 20 minutes. My head was about to explode. Mechanically the game is fine, if you played the first it is identical. And for the most part it is still fun being a jedi and murdering tons of stormtroopers. There are a few moments where actual skill and strategy is needed to get through a room, shame it doesn't happen often. Basically I still rather play a game like this than a FPS that is as poorly designed as this. Play the first and only the first if you have any interest in this series. |
