I have thought through all the active members here at VGP, and I have to say I don't see a single one of you that would not enjoy Bulletstorm on some level.  It is on every level a very sophisticated game.

All the negative criticism I read of it can be attributed to playing it in one or two sittings (which would be possible, but only if you were being paid -- I beat it in about 8-9 sittings).

I can't really say much more than that, it soaked in the sensibilities of several generations of gaming, starting with SNES.  It knows what it is, and pretends to be nothing more, but it you are bored with FPS, this is the cure.  You just may be ruined for any FPS after it.
