Yep, the day had come. The day that I will be delivered from the suffering that is work. The salvation of unemployement is upon me.
I still had 14.5 vacation days left, so I took them all. So as of today, I do not work at Mammoet anymore. Sorry Bugsy, no more cranes for me.
Now I have time to do the following things:
- Sleep
- Get my driving license
- Sleep
- Train
- Not doing any updates at the VG Press.
- Did I mention sleep?
- Play games

Of course the test is right, I filled the questions in myself. I do not make mistake.
What is this feeling thing you are talking about?
It's like the sensation you get when you read one of my posts and realize on an internal level that you are wrong, and that a greater truth has been revealed to you. In time you'll get used to it.
I think that makes you management material.
It's strange, though, cause I always thought Iga was a psychopath.
True, but I am not ignorant in the subject matter, which is a big no-no in the management world.
Really? Because usually when I read your posts my logic circuits get fried.
Well, if everything else fails, you can always give motivational speeches.
Okay, for the best part of the week I hear nothing about any of the job offerings. So far so good I think.
Then on Thursday, someone calls. They want to introduce me to a company. In that company I have to make production drawings out of a prototype. They want to take the prototype into productions. The project would only last a month and the pay is good. So I said sure, why not. It is only a month, if it sucks no big deal. Of course I am not the only candidate, see what happens.
Then soon after the same company that made me a deal that I refused called me again. They want to talk to me. So today after the podcast I went there. The new deal is better. They won't go any higher, but still not something to write home about. Also the pay increase is not that much when you grow in the company. Monday I will definitely say yes or no.
Why do people want me? Can't they just leave me alone? Can I just be left in peace like a hobo engineer?
Okay, I just rejected one job offer. It was a reasonable offer, but it was the very first. Plus I had some doubts. But some good came from it, now I know what to aim for paywise!
Are you going to take the contract work (the one that is only for a month)?
If they offer it sure, but they have to make the offer first. Maybe someone else was chosen!
