^They are probably waiting for the semester to get rolling (see who drops and who doesn't). I'd check back with them from time to time, particularly at the start of each semester.

I may have an excuse to coming up soon, since I'm concerned about our registration account security. You use your student ID + a 4-digit "pin number" (i.e. terribly weak password) to log in, and you use this account for adding/dropping classes and such. Well, professors post marks using student IDs, meaning anyone can see anyone else's. Now, they lock-out after 5 attempts -- but they lock out permanently and you have to go to the registrar's office to reactivate it. I could take out an entire class is minutes like this.
