Its worth noting that in NA and Europe web traffic always sees a sharp decline in the summer. I see it in my daily work and struggle to bring visitors to my company's site and I'm even spending $20K a month to do it. At least part of this drop should be attributed to that, though there are other things going on here as well.

As far as a podcast this weekend I'm available during the days but late night ones are out for me.

Very interesting. So some of the other things are likely lack of new games, general dis-interest in gaming right now? Like I may have mentioned the site itslef seems to have slowed off greatly since E3.

This is the gaming off season. Any way to compare it to last year?

Ok so thursday night for us then. I probably need to start early cause I have an insanly early flight sat. So i am thinking 9CST which is 10EST. No clue what time that is in Australia. Let me know if that is ok.

I don't mean this passive-aggressively, so actual question.  Is this intended to be a start time, or a everyone online to get ready to start time?  I think aspro's idea of getting our schedule more regular again is a good one regardless of listener numbers, and getting good schedules is part of it.

CST? EST? FFS.

what state are you in Vader (or Yoda)? I can probably work it out easily that way. 9PM for Vader, 10PM for Yoda?

If Vader is still in Miami and it's 9PM for him, then I think it's 11AM for me, and I am definitely out.

I am just throwing out times to judge if Foolz can get on. i should be back from work well before then and besides getting something to eat I should be in my room ready to do a podcast at any time after like 7 CST. I just dont want it to be too late.

Foolz that would be 10pm in Miami, so I guess noon for you. I would like to get you on so I can do one hour later from that time but that is as far as late I am willing to go. Unless you want to do it tomorrow, I can be up at this time. EDIT: Oh but yoda. Ok so thursday for sure lets see if we can get the three of us.

Okay, I can start getting ready for the podcast at 12, and can definitely start recording before 1.

Vade, to answer your question. It's tough to make out, but it does look like there was a dip in Summer last year.

Ah from what heights! Maybe DarthHomer's awesomeness is what we miss (not just in the podcast).

I started to use the show notes to choose my news already.  I assume you all have links to it.

Another way to get our numbers up again is to say something about the Chinese government or the Turks.  Isn't that were we got a spike a couple of years back Yoda?

Weren't we getting some insane number of listens from a chinese IP?

Yeah, there were more downloads coming from China than anywhere else.

Well I for one am completely upset with the Chinese government for supressing our numbers.  They cannot keep suppressing our numbers like this forever. There will come a day when the Chinese government will no longer supress our numbers. Tibet.

Show Boat goes into the public domain next year.  Maybe we should do that instead of the regular podcast format -- a serialized musical.

So what is the deal for tomorrow? (Friday Australia, Thursday North America). Same starring cast as last week at the same time as last week?

Preferably not. A little later is better for me, and without prior organisation that's the time I say we do it this week. The Yankadians got to organise the last. Nyaa So you and me from something like 1-3 unless others can join.

...

....

.....

(Will consider a similar set up time as last week (12), but it's not ideal, and warning would be appreciated.)

Well I think I'm developing a cold, or something worse. Depending on the severity of the cold, or if it's something worse, I may be out tomorrow, so other people getting together should probably be priority. Meaning gogo early podcast if it means it getting done. I'll be allowed to check this thread at least at around 11PM.

I am good with later, I am actually good with almost anything. So I will just sit around and see what happens. I will check back regularly or you can find me on PSN.
