Regarding Knights of Sidonia, has this talking bear chef ever been explained?
Jorgamund just arrived.
Watched Tiger and Bunny The Rising movie, which is set after the series.
Having watched the first 7 episodes of the series you don't need to have watched the series to enjoy the movie. Anyhow I was actually pretty impressed by the movie, it was.... very good actually. It's pretty much the same as the Avengers movies in terms of tone and action etc. The story is pretty vacuous but the action and character interplay is spot on. It was also much more entertaining than the series has been so far.
So Jormungand is good.
The series follows Koko Hekmatyar, a young arms dealer who sells weapons under HCLI, an international shipping corporation that secretly deals in the arms trade. As one of the company's unofficial weapon dealers, she secretly sells weapons in many countries while avoiding the local authorities and law enforcement as most of her work is actually illegal under international law.
It's about a team of arms dealers who employ a boy soldier. Nothing bad about it, pretty decent. I need a story arc though.
11 eps into Robotics Notes, like Steins Gate I think this will have its fans, it's fun enough and I'm curious to see where it goes.
Jorgamund is officially good.
Enjoy it now, very decent unusual series for an anime about arms dealers. It still needs a story arc but the episodes are enjoyable regardless.

Fairy Tail Zero Prequel Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation
I finished all 13 episodes of Love chunibyo & other delusions
Yūta Togashi is a boy who, during junior high school, suffered from "chūnibyō" (中二病;text-decoration:none;">?, lit. "second year middle schooler syndrome", or "delusions of grandeur"), believing that he possessed supernatural powers and calling himself the "Dark Flame Master", therefore alienating himself from his classmates. Finding his past embarrassing, Yūta attempts to start off high school where he does not know anyone, free from his old delusions. This proves to be difficult, however, as a delusional girl in his class, Rikka Takanashi, learns of Yūta's past and becomes interested in him.
There is a second series which I am waiting for on DVD.
Very funny and touching near the end but never really loses its focus on humour. Not as good as Toradora! but still very welcome. Shame it's so expensive on Bluray.
Finished all 24 episosdes of The Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix
Pretty fun series. Done by A-1 pictures the Fairy Tail/Magi guys.
The Seven Deadly Sins were once an active group of knights in the region of Britannia (ブリタニア, Buritania), who disbanded after they supposedly plotted to overthrow the Liones Kingdom (リオネス王国, Rionesu Ōkoku). Their supposed defeat came at the hands of the Holy Knights, but rumors continued to persist that they were still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights staged a coup d'état and captured the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. The third princess, Elizabeth, then starts out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins and enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.
Strangely for them the animation quality felt a little budget to me and the colour choice was somewhat gaudy. But like the two aforementioned series A-1 is great at making crowd pleasers and this eventually builds to an enjoyable ending with room for expansion - there is a second series coming. The ending was good but it was good because it ripped off FMA:B a bit.
Well this really shouldn't be in the Anime thread but Sawano is doing the music for XCX and you can find the soundtrack here to listen to:

You should be familiar with him from Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist, Kill La Kill, The Seven Deadly Sins and more.
So wtf happened with season 2 of Knights of Sidonia?
It starts introducing this hybrid character which is actually pretty good. Then it turns this hybrid character into a 10 year old girl in the body of a cute looking worm creature and suddenly the series goes from hard sci fi to vacuous, light, fluff in an instant.
I added three series to my Netflix Queue: Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
I never fully saw Attack on Titan. I always get to certain episode and than miss some episodes when it is on TV that I forget to finish it.
Edit* I started Attack on Titan they only had the Subtitled version I'm not fast at reading subtitles so I stopped.
I just watched the first episode of Fairy Tail and it was great.

Three awesome shows.
For Fairytail watch at least up to the end of the Galuna Island Story arc to see if you like it. FMA B gets more interesting when the Fuhrer features heavily in an episode and gets better all the way up to the end.
I finished all 12 episodes of Girls und Panzer
The story takes place in a universe where historical WWII-era tanks are maintained for sports warfare competitions and large carrier ships known as Academy Ships support mobile sea communities. Of the many activities high school girls can participate in, one of the most popular is "sensha-dō" (戦車道?, lit. "the way of the tank"
It was fun overall although they focus on the tank battles too much whilst neglecting character development. Regardless it's a pretty decent show, very watchable.
EDIT:
Special mention must go to its opening and credits songs, they'll be stuck in my head for days.
[Girls Und Panzer] Theme Song "DreamRiser" - FULL
Girls Und Panzer - Ending Theme Song "Enter Enter Mission" FULL
I also finally finished Hellsing Ultimate.
I waited for ageeeeeeeees for parts 9 and 10 to be localised for the UK and finally when I heard they weren't coming out I bought the American versions.
What an ending, great show, total insanity and some of the glossiest best quality animation I have seen in a series. I was a bit confused with how Alucard became abstract because of that weird German cat man thing. Foolz you want to enlighten me?
Just saw this video of two women dressed up as Tiger and Bunny and singing the theme tune.
It's awesome
I'm about to start the Lullaby Arc in Fairy Tail.
I must have accidentally typed D instead of F when I wrote the name. I changed it now.

That one is fun but it gets a lot better during the Galuna Island arc.
How did you find the Duke Everlue/Blue episode? That's the one episode in the entire series I hate.

I thought it was alright. I liked some parts of it.
Crunchyroll Adds Kuroko's Basketball OVA Episodes to Catalog
Started Deadman Wonderland:
A massive anomaly ravaged Japan's mainland and destroyed most of Tokyo, sinking three-quarters of the city into the ocean.
Ten years later, the story shifts to Ganta Igarashi, a seemingly ordinary student attending Nagano Prefecture's middle school. As an escapee, a survivor of the great earthquake, Ganta has no memories of the tragedy and has lived a normal life. This all changes when a strange person covered in blood and crimson armor floats through his classroom windows.
I'm 4 eps in, seems good so far. All these convicts on Deathrow are forced to perform like a circus for credits to live.
Also started Robotics Notes.
From the Steins Gate team. Seems a tad lighter than Steins Gate, more approachabe. Only 3 eps in so far so I'm waiting for the story to get more interesting, there seems to be a time travel aspect.
