They're bringing back Kirby air ride. That wasn't one I had on my list.

They didn't announce the price? Well shit. I guess with the fucking tariffs from our clown president looming overhead, they still can't quite commit, at least for our country.

I haven't seen Anything yet but Nintendolife said the screen supports 1080p/120. Hopefully that means VRR too.

All right, well, the direct was unfortunately what Nintendo pretty much does these days. Starts well, ends well, and puts a shitload of fluff in the middle.

The hardware itself looks good, and while I don't know how much use I'm going to get out of it, that group chat feature looks like it's going to appeal to a younger audience in a huge way.

Mario Kart World, DK Banaza (my one correct prediction), and The Duskbloods all looked excellent. Honestly they probably could have just shown those three games along with the hardware features and that would have been enough.

You know what that was kinda an awesome direct.

Can't believe the screen is HDR 1080p 120hz

They didn't mention VRR?

PRIME 4 look so much better just in texture quality. And running at 4k 60fps is cool. Or 1080p 120fps

I really wanted Cyberpunk for ages, so that's cool.

3rd parties seem to actually give a shit this time. Though I wanted Capcom to put all the Resident evils on this thing.

Donkey Kong looked fricking bad ass. Open world Mario Kart is awesome.

But the SD EXPRESS only requirement sucks. I was going to leave a lot of the fast loading switch 1 games on my existing sd cards. Now I either sell my oled and spent whatever I make on new and expensive SD Express cards.

Or just keep my OLED and the existing cards.

Fingers crossed on VRR

Sucks that you have to pay for the game upgrades.

June 5th for Switch 2 launch but no price.

Lots of great games shown.

Pretty awesome Direct.

$450
$500 for the mk bundle, Geoff Keighley is saying.

Expensive.

Is this Trump's fucking fault?

Lmao if it's more expensive in America vs everywhere else.

The graphics on the games looked decent to me, but I only have switch 1 to compare to.

Was there any Microsoft stuff shown?

"Nintendo revealed concrete details about the Switch 2 for the first time on Wednesday, including specifics about its hardware. The company had in January only revealed the Switch 2’s design and compatibility with previous-generation games. The Switch 2 will launch on June 5 for $449.99, which is significantly higher than the first-generation model’s $300 price."

TBH before they said Mario Kart was open world I was going to avoid buying it.

I haven't picked up the MK8 dlc pass yet. But playing open world NFS and Burnout made me want an open world MK game for ages.

Open world Mario Kart? I've never been a fan of open world driving games. Hopefully this one will do it better.

New 3D DK looks .. yeah. I hope it grows on me but the crazy environment destruction and his stupid look on his face isn't working for me at all.

Metroid Prime 4 looks amazing.

Wind Waker coming to NSO. No Wind Waker HD port?! Meh.

I'll likely wait a while before getting a Switch 2.

Couldn't they have built a camera into the tablet rather than sell it separately.

As a Wii speak owner I can tell you it becomes a worthless unsellable relic years later.

They make more $$ selling it separately.

They uploaded a ton of videos, some not in the direct.

Apparently the physical version of Mario Kart World is $80 USD. Sounds like the digital version is cheaper though.
