I think voice chat in this game would be good for friends only. I'll have to play with friends to see for sure though.

Good to hear you finally got your hands on Splatoon. I'm always on the lookout for games to join. 
But this week I won't be playing much. I started working again this week, and I'm doing 14 hour days to get back on track. Still, I'll keep an eye out whenever I get around to playing some.
Yeah I get paired with Japanese guys, maybe 8 Japanese, 2 westerners.

I don't have Splatoon. I don't think I will get it as I think the excitement will die down by the time I receive it and I am able to play it.

Aspro, I've just come to realize that while we're usually at the VGpress at the same time, actually gaming together might be harder. I do most of my VGpress posting from work. My usual game time is between 18h00 and 22h00 UTC, if any. But hey, I'll keep my eyes open for anyone playing Splatoon nontheless.
Pro tip: always play online, save the single player for when the servers are acting up.

With my life, at work is the calmest time of the day 
I used to look down on such practices, when I was a younger, more naive and more idealistic me. But hey, I charge by the hour, if I'm not working, I just don't get paid. so basically I'm not posting at work, but inbetween shorter blocks of work.
VGP is blocked for me at work. Now why would that be ... I wonder?

So, I managed 2 games with Aspro, my team won both games, one against Aspro and one with.
I was disconnected so many times today it was unreal. The internet here is fucked yes, but not that fucked and some of them must have had to do with other peoples connections too.

Yes, if only to get new weapons. I would stick to the splatter shot jr till then, you get a bubble shield and a high fire rate.
