I don't think so. I believe it has some motion controls (kinda like Wario Shake It).
I just watched the demo they did of the game at E3. The propeller suit is activated by shaking the wiimote, and I think throwing other characters requires shaking too. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these motion controls are also mapped to an extra button though.
Other than R-Type and Raiden, I love this series as well. Charging my PSP right now! I can't wait to try it out!

I guess Namco-Bandai shipped it earlier than expected, which was Sept. 1, the original shipping date.
Anyway, I know there aren't many PSP fans here, but the game is out! Playable Kratos!!!

Square-Enix to publish Modern Warfare 2 in Japan? Looks like it's real!

Pretty smart move if it works. Hopefully, the Japanese market will like this game. I think with Square-Enix's name brand, it'll be a good start.

Did no one check out the FF13 racism story?
I just looked at the picture. I was so disgusted that I will now boycot FFXIII.
Guys check out the Edge Review scores
Oh and Robio
Wow at that Lost Winds art. Finally a sequel.
They should go cross platform, yes I know pointer controls etc blah blah.
Money is king.
No
Don't know. I do not read IGN articles!
Lost Winds 2 looks sweet, though I'd really like to see some in-game shots. I still say the original Lost Winds was the best platformer to come out this gen (fuck LBP). I will be grabbing it the day it's released.
Read the retro article all the way through. Epic reading, love those games to bits. It makes me want to pick up the trilogy but I cant, I have this block when comes to owning versions of games I already own.
Wiimote aiming though.... so sweet
Gamespot Cursed Mountain review:
"There are moments when predictability seeps into Cursed Mountain. Some of your ethereal enemies mix up attacks on you, but defeating them involves the same tactics time and time again (with the exception of a few sinister boss fights). And yet there's something special about Cursed Mountain always lingering under its surface. Its attention to cultural detail is extraordinary, and as you approach your final destination, the anxious chill spreads further through you. It's a shame that control issues so frequently tarnish the trek. But Cursed Mountain mostly transcends its problems, thanks to a great premise and thoughtful storytelling that will clutch you in its frosty embrace."
I haven't heard many control complaints from other reviews or Gaf guys. This game sounds like something worth playing, eventually as a cult game.
Maybe when the price is lower.
EDIT:
Nice, video review almost sold me on it.
Very good read there. I'm proud to have supported Retro and the Metroid Prime series. Which Prime game is everyone's favorite? I gotta go with the first one, it was well balanced with challenges that were difficult, but not break your controller frustrating. Prime 2 is too difficult at times with bosses that were similar. Prime 3 was too easy, with a lack of atmospheric music.
I would easily rank Prime 1 with OoT and MM as my three favorite games of all time.
1>>>2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3
2's main problem was the rather boring bosses overall. I personally loved the difficulty after the first game where I just wished they'd let us play the first time through on hard. 2's difficulty felt about right for normal. A challenge, but not really hard. 3 was too easy, had terrible bosses, terrible story telling, terrible atmosphere except on occasion. All it had really was great controls, reasonable action and great graphics. Meeh. Good technically, but crap as a Metroid game.
Prime 1 is definitely one of my favourite all time games too.
What happened to buying these games earlier before they disappear to support the publsiher? You disgust me GG! Casual.
Metroid Prime is easily the very best in that series; I consider it equal to Super Metroid.
I agree. They should go cross platform: WiiWare, DS, and PC.
I can't imagine it working well on any other platforms, though, unless they wait until Natal and Wand are released, I guess.
Also, they could release both games on a single budget-priced retail Wii disk, so that people who don't have net access could buy it.
Better than Galaxy?
Just sell the old ones then.
