It would be pretty sweet to get a new game in the series, hopefully with some higher production values to replace the dating sim-like story scenes with something more involving and modern. But V-like would be good too. I wonder how the way too delayed Western release did for NISA, and if they would consider bringing this one over. Releasing a PS2 game and Wii port of it 5 years too late was hardly a promising endeavor, a new title could do the trick.

I been playing Singularity last night and I have to say that it is pretty awesome. I know reviewers shrugged it off saying it took too many elements from past games like Bioshock 2, TimeShift, etc., but it arguably does it much better than those games. (Note I said Bioshock 2 and not the first one since the first one is a classic).
I love the atmosphere and mysterious aspect of Singularity. It's much more immersive than Dead Space, IMO, because it doesn't feel repetitive. The game also keeps me on my toes and does have some genuine scares. The game does do some original stuff as well and the graphics look pretty awesome.
Too bad the game sold like dirt because Activision basically ignored it like a bastard child.
I think this game is one of my favorites of this gen. Very overlooked game.

I'm definitely excited. It's still a Metroid game and I love the series so I'm getting it no matter what!
Tomorrow will be a good day. Not just because of Metroid Other M but also Valkyria Chronicles 2 is coming out!
VC2 is only for the PSP, sucks for non-PSP owners.
But since I don't have a PS3 and never played the first one, I guess that's why I'm so excited to finally play this series! 
Hope VC3 comes out for the PS3 and hope I have a PS3 by then!

I'm still debating about wether to buy Metroid: Other M or just rent it. There's a lot of games I want to get in the next few months so I don't know.
