See my post on the subject.
Looked much better than that. Far better lighting and effects. it was also a hell of a lot darker.
Does anyone here use the itunes store?
Can someone do me a favour and see what animated shows they have to buy and copy a list and post it in the cartoon thread?
I wish I could try RR 3DS, rent it. Seems to be pretty good. I was just reading IGN
THE 3D EFFECT
Ridge Racer's world of perfectly sculpted concrete, neon cityscapes and colourful seaside jaunts really pops on the 3DS, and it does so with a frame-rate that falters only when the top tier machinery arrives - and even then such drops are forgivingly fleeting. It's quite a spectacle, and even if you think you've seen it all in Ridge Racer's universe there are still moments of unexpected beauty that can catch you unawares, whether that's in shards of light that cascade through a cliff-face or a puddle that mottles the screen with water.
Indeed, some of the 3D effects seem pulled from William Castle's own book of tricks – ticker tape streams from the stands lining the bayside before slapping itself against the camera, while elsewhere autumnal leaves will hurl themselves towards the player. You can't blame Namco for its enthusiasm, though, and elsewhere it's proved the point that 3D's a perfect match for the requirements of a racing game.
Vader you said you liked Kesha right?
I never played any Splinter Cells on PS2 but I did play the original on Gamecube which looked close to the Xbox version but didn't have the great lighting effects. From what I hear, the following games had less and less effort put into them on PS2 and especially Cube, and the Xbox versions were always the lead platform with all the bells & whistles.
But just like the original RE4 on the Gamecube, the SC games on Xbox definitely looked better than these supposed HIGH DEFINITION pics.
I got the first game on cube and the 2 sequels on Xbox. Yeah none of them looked like these reference pics. I never did get to play Double Agent Xbox1 version, you know, the good one?
This has to be done.
I played both versions of Double Agent. It basically looked just like Chaos Theory....very nice. That's still my favorite game in the series graphics wise, even though Conviction technically has better graphics Chaos Theory just looked, well, right. Kind of like RE4 to RE5.
That would give me nightmares.
That's probably why the PS2 demo was in an extremely dark level then lol.
I've played the Xbox version too, though and it looked really good.
I don't know how.
Yeah, when I played Conviction I felt it was kinda weird seeing how Chaos Theory and Double agent emphasised shaders. Conviction looked sorta flat from a texture standpoint.
I wasn't really happy with Conviction. Not a bad game, but not really what I want out of a Splinter Cell experience. I also didn't like the stupid black & white effect for darkness.
Nintendo Handhelds are Great 'Babysitting Tools,' Says Sony
SCEA's Jack Tretton reminds us that the DS is for kids.

You know, there comes a time when even the most insane of people MUST realize that what they are doing and saying just ISN'T working, and it is time for a change. Apparently, things just don't work that way in corporate America. Yeah, I know, some marketers probably wrote this for Tretton TO say, but jeez, this is getting SO old and SO pathetic now, the only ones that appear as 'kids' are the sour grapes people representing Sony. If this IS just Tretton alone saying this, well then, it's time to tell the man to just move on, he's clearly not an effective leader in this day and age.
Do you think after the "Marcus" campaign I'd want to be seen in public playing a PSP...? HAHAHA, no!
Where has Marcus been lately? Yeah... 'nother EPIC FAIL ! ! !
The sheer stupidity turns me off and makes me want to sell my Sony system. I know guys from each company say or do stupid things from time to time, but Sony is the worst offender.
I've felt the same way since back in the PS2 days. When you start coming out with commets that you're trying to hurl insults at your competitors with that are that retarded annd childish, thinking your going to steer people away from buying their products, all you're really doing is offending gamers themselves and making them not want YOUR product.
Sony keeps reminding me why I haven't purchased any of their consoles since PS1.
Speaking of Marcus, Sony's whole marketing group needs to be let go. The only ad campaign that I could see being remotely sucessful, is the Kevin Butler ones.

Tempting . . . but it's still $39.99 too much.
