Was Psycho Mantis the son of The Boss and The Sorrow?
OH CRAP!
NEVERMIND!
I looked up my question and it was revealed to me that...

Ocelot is the son of The Boss and The Sorrow! DUH! Makes sense! ...and makes HIM the last Child of the Philosophers Legacy too... Just as The Boss claimed to be!
Spoilers are clear for everyone in the comment stream, Leo.
No they're not.
I wouldn't do something like that!
SPOILERS!
I don't even know why I went to all the trouble! I think the only person here who HASN'T played the games is Robio!
ARGH! What's with all the spoilerz in GG Weakly?! I have not played that game yet! Why no warnings, Leo?! Are you trying to ruin Christmas?!
'Cuz I HATED it the first few times I tried to play it!
I wanted to play it for the story, but I found the Camouflage and Stamina systems tedious. Even playing the game now was a borderline chore because of the controls. They are sooo counter-intuitive at times and making Snake DO what you want him to do, like crawl facing the right direction, lean up against a wall and just be able to SEE anything while on his stomach... is unnecessarily difficult by TODAY'S standards... Playing this game anytime AFTER the year it came out was painful ONLY because advances in third person game controls came so quickly and dramatically JUST afterwards!
It wasn't anything that was unsurmountable --BUT-- if the story elements weren't sooo strong...
Hey, Leo. What's with the Pomeranian avatar? Just curious.
It's not just ANY Pomeranian!!
It's Missile!!
You know, MISSILE!! The --BEST-- Capcom creation since Mega Man...
...
?!
PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE BESIDES ME KNOWS WHO MISSILE IS!!
Missile? I honestly never heard of it before.
. . .
Apparently, Google hasn't either.
No clue who that is Leo.
No no no no. Most MGS4 fights were great. Octopus is such a unique fight with so many ways to go about it. Wolf was FANTASTIC, I great mix of Sniper Wolf and The End. Mantis was another really fun battle with all sorts of crazy stuff going on, having to hit the dolls, dead dudes flying all around. Ray vs Rex, AWESOME. And the final battle was epic, again a great throw back to MGS1. Every boss fight had elements of older bosses, the entire game was a love letter to the entire series.
Try to fight these bosses without being seen, or without killing them. There are so many options available to you, so many ways to approach them it puts most games bosses to shame. Please tell me what games have bosses like this? I want to play these games.
You suck from a story telling perspective!
My thoughts on Crysis (PSN)
I'm about 3 hours in, and I'm done with this game; $20 wasted.
It's a fairly fun game at first, but it's pretty obvious right from the start that it should not have come to PS3/360. First off, the graphics are butt ugly. Texture quality is way lower than most other games on these platforms, making everything look very blurry and jagged. Textures pop-in everywhere you look, and the sluggish frame rate makes aiming and driving difficult.
It's also really repetitive. The environments all look the same. I did a bunch of main and side missions, and every enemy camp I entered looked exactly the same. Every enemy looks exactly the same. Each mission is basically the same too. Yeah, it gets boring quick.
AI is a joke. Sometimes enemies will spot you from half a mile away while hiding behind trees and bushes. Other times, they can't see you when you are right in front of them. They will often kill themselves by shooting explosive barrels or machine gun the building they are in causing it to cave in on them, lol. Lame.
Maybe this game is better on a PC. I don't know. But this is like a bad joke on PS3. Bleh.
^ LOL sounds fun.
It sounds like it has the same issues so many western games have. Cut and paste environments, no enemy variety, no bosses, repetitive gameplay.
You know what I started to play the other day, Wario Ware, the orginal on 3DS. Its the first Wario Ware game I ever played and my god it is awesome. How does a game of 3 second mini games work so well.
A tad LttP, no?
