I haven't been following ME3 closely (simply because I haven't played the first 2 yet), but is the outcry simply that people didn't like the ending? And is it simply a case of the ending was not a "happily ever after" type and that made sensitive bunnies the world over start to cry, or was it a bad ending in people's opinion in that it was open-ended, or that it didn't necessarily give full closure?
More often that not, when most people think an ending is bad, I feel the opposite (for example the Sopranos), but it will be a very long time until I have an opinion on this myself

Thanks Vader. So people wanted something like Fallout 3 but got one blanket ending regardless of moral choices throughout their playthrough?
By the way, happy birthday! Hope you had a great one

A friend of mine put a selection of beautiful chinese landscape paintings/prints on his tumblr account. I think several people here will find them at least interesting to look at. Anyone with an interest in Chinese and Japanese art (or anyone who thinks Okami and Muramasa look nice etc). Check it;

Anybody played Zeno Clash?

Badass, will check right now. I just framed my painting yesterday.
This one.
Those paintings are nice but I'm not a huge fan of the black and white ones.
A lot of hype for the sequel to a 6/10 game. But I am excited
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two revealed
It's a multi-platform musical, improved camera promised.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is currently in development for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, producer Warren Spector has announced.
Speaking in an Associated Press interview, Spector revealed that, unlike the 2010 original, the game will be a musical with full voice acting for all characters.
"I'm such a geek about musicals," he said.
"I love the co-op and next-gen stuff, but for me, when a character breaks into song, which they do on a regular basis in this game, it's magic."
You can also expect drop-in, drop-out co-op, with one player controlling Mickey and his paintbrush, and the other playing as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who wields a remote control with which he can manipulate electricity.
"You can sit down at any time with a friend who is playing as Mickey, and you can take control of Oswald," explained Spector.
"If you're playing as a single player, Oswald will be there every second of the game. He's not just a multiplayer character. He's a helper, whether you're playing alone or with a friend or family member."
The other key focus for Spector and his team at developer Junction Point is the game's camera - much criticised in the original. He promised a much more user-friendly experience this time around.
"We've had a team working on the camera from literally the day we finished the first game. They'll be working on it until the day we ship the second game," he said.
"(There have been) over 1000 specific changes made to the camera. Our goal is that you will not have to touch the manual camera controls even once to play through the main story path of this game."
Spector didn't reveal much detail about the sequel's plot other than that it will see Mickey return to Wasteland. Similarly, no word on a release date or on the 3DS version rumoured earlier this week.
EDIT:
First proper Epic Mickey 2 screens here.
When I heard it was going to be on PS3 and 360 I was expecting something better, this is just the wii engine in HD, it barely looks any better if any better at all than the Wii game. Unless these are just Wii screens.
Is GAF dead?
That is one rad painting. What form is it? Silk print? What dimensions? Did you bring it back with you from your trip?
I love the black and white ones even more I think. Love the broad strokes and the shading

Why else am I here?
One of the site's forefathers.
I played the demo, but didn't like it.
It's on Xuan paper, quite large 37.5" long, about 20" high. I had to get a 2nd hand frame for it, there were no new frames that matched the dimensions. I ordered it from China when I got back. Do you like the black and white ones on the brown/gold coloured paper or canvas or on white paper or silk or something?
Silk and rice paper prints are my favourites but I like all of them. I wish I could afford to have a collection of them (Yes foolz, whatever art vanity you accuse me of, I am guilty as charged). Wouldn't know where to start though

The game is pretty good so far. But I can see why some wouldn't enjoy it.

Hey, in Epic Mickey 2 - Oswald will be voiced by Frank Welker.
aka: Megatron/Uni/Slimer
Sine Mora review on Eurogamer totally sold it to me! Sounds like another slice of schmup perfection on XBLA after the HD re-issues of Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun. And this one is brand new. Makes me feel so happy and thankful that brilliant new games are still being made today in the genre I first fell in love with over 25 years ago.

Ugh, a musical? Great, more things for Junction Point to potentially fuck up...
Just focus on world building and gameplay while fixing the first's issues, meh.

It is not zipper. It is slant six, they make the crappy Socom games.
