This is a real game?
What bothers me about this is that they consider it the Xbox and Playstation "STYLE" just because a game has good visuals? Otherwise, I'm glad that Retro could be working on a more adult Nintendo game.

It always makes me laugh when people say that. It happens all the time in music. Its basically saying "Yeah, we know our fans weren't too happy with the last thing we did, so we're going back to what was good about it in the 1st place and hope people follow."

Similar concept, but if you see Battle Royale second it might feel a bit too much like deja vu, which would be a shame because Battle Royale was controversial and groundbreaking at the time. Schoolkids murdering each other wasn't something that you expected to see on screen. I can't believe it wasn't even availible in America till recentely as it was made years ago.
I think it was too easy to kill in Conviction, which made it less satisfying.
Yeah, bizarrely it's directed by this Welsh guy who went to Indonesia to make movies. I recentely saw his first martial arts film Merantau Warrior and it wasn't that great. The action was okay, but the story was crapola and it was a bit amateurish. I think there are two Raid movies and the recent one is Redemption. I will check it out eventually.
To me the best action movie ever made is Hard Boiled. I used to think Die Hard was the best, then I saw Hard Boiled and I was like WTF?!
Eh, I know the game is set in the wasteland and all but they just re-used the existing environment in that trailer. That was the HD version too and it barely looked better than the Wii engine, it has a few shinier bits and a couple of shaders. Barely any difference, obviously it's the wii version ported over and tarted up. I wanted to get a better looking 360 version but if the paint brush isn't handled well and if the graphics aren't even that much better to bother with, eh.
