I love Nintendo hardware, but in looking at it, I've always had the most fun with the third party games on their systems (and this is something I am finally figuring out).  Let's examine the evidence:

- Never beaten a 2D mario platformer (except for on handheld).

- Never beaten a Metroid game (other than Metroid 2 on GB).

- Never beaten a Zelda game.

The most time I've sunk into an actual Nintendo franchise has been Animal Crossing.

Hello. My name is Phantom_Leo. I am a lifelong Nintendo fan, but I must admit:

I never beat Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy.

I never beat Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

I've never beaten a Fire Emblem or Pikmin game.

I've never beaten a 3D Zelda, Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass or Minish Cap.

I've never finished a New Super Mario Bros. game, Donkey Kong Country game, Kirby's Epic Yarn or Donkey Kong Country Returns.

I am certainly the odd man out. I think the 3DS is best for its non nintendo games, and I am continually suprised that people lineup to buy the same three nintendo games over and over again. Man I know there are soo many zelda like games out there... wait wait NO THERE ISNT. How about all those Zelda clones, oh yeah there are none. 1 Zelda game every 3 -5 years, so many Zelda games!!!! Meanwhile you play 15 FPSs a year, or the same kind of game, same genre over and over again. Just cause it has a different name doesn't make it new or original.
