New GTA trailer coming on the 30th.
Im horny already.
So EA isn't going to publish third party games anymore? This is huge news and noone is talking about it da fuq.
I fucking hate banks.
I was told I would be expecting a call from my bank's claims department sometime in the next 5 business days. Until then, I'm out $1,200. They're goddamn lucky I have plenty of cash to cover this travesty, and all of my upcoming expenses until it is resolved, otherwise they would have been hit with paying any and all overdraft fees. Shit like this is why I'm such a cheap bastard. The banker I talked with tonight was very nice, and apologized; she was quite shocked when she saw their mistake. I didn't take it out on her, but I'm beyond pissed right now.
I've done my part. Posted about it in a few places, no-one seems to care.
They will take care of it, you can cover it, so don't add to the pain by grinding your gears. Don't let "them" win by you exacting more damage on yourself by worrying about it.
I'm not worried about it anymore. I'm just irritated that it could take another week to resolve. I assumed they would fix it on the spot. Yeah, bad assumption on my part, I know.
It's what the terrorists want, man.
Wii U update new features
GG, how come all the Miiverse PC screenshots aren't HD? Does it automatically resize them or something?
I think it's because they don't want to overload the servers with massive file size pics. The pics are usually viewed in a smaller box on the TV screen and on the pad. Even on Miiverse they are resized to be quite small and you have to open an image in a new window to see the full size, which is still smaller than HD. Not only are the pics smaller but also lower detail than how the actual games look.
EDIT: New Batman AO screens, obviously bullshots (no jaggies) but still nice looking.
Nice. VC should launch today.
EDIT: Disc drive no longer spins when playing downloaded games/applications.
No more having to get up and eject a disc. Finally, such bullshit.
Each game will support off-TV play on the Wii U GamePad, customisable controls, Miiverse community support and instant saves.
Those who have already bought any of the games for Wii can transfer them to Wii U and play them in Wii Mode at no charge. To upgrade them and take advantage of the Wii U features, the games can be purchased at the discount price of €/£0.99 for NES titles and €/£ 1.49 for SNES ones.
That's lame.
GG, how many hours have you put into Lego City so far?
It's a shame because this for instance looks stunning on a big plasma:
T
he same screen from a PC- looks the same as the U version for the most part. Wont let me hotlinkBut all you see is a lower than HD, smaller pic.
I'll load it up and check. BRB
Yep, it'd be awesome like the Steam screenshot tool if it'd take the pic basically as it is in-game!
NFS also has this quirk, not sure you could call it a glitch but it only lets you take a screenshot from the back of the car, if you swivel the camera for a better view, as soon as you hit the home button the camera defaults to the back of the car. You could capture some stunning pics otherwise.
Still it's a great feature for posting to Miiverse, especially if you are stuck you can show people exactly where you are and what's going on.
Who is thinking about doing the Wii to U save data transfer?
The new VC games let you play off screen with instant saves and customisable controls plus Miiverse.
I want these features but I hear you have to transfer everything over from Wii, VC games and game saves including game saves for retail disc games.
I want to keep Wii hooked up to an SDTV to play most games and don't want to lose my saves or versions of VC games I can play on an SDTV. Especially as the Euro Wii U doesn't upscale Wii games to HD like the US one supposedly does.
Do you think you can just back up these channels and save data on an SD card, copy everything over and reinstall it all on Wii afterwards?
I'm just going to leave it alone. I considered trying, but I have a feeling once they've been transferred you won't be able to get them back. Plus it's sort of out of my hands anyway. A few months ago (right around the time the Wii U came out actually) identified my Wii as one that had been hacked/modded. The only thing they really did was prevent me from getting into the Shop Channel to buy any new games or get access to my old ones. Either way I can't register it for transfer now.
