It is encouraging also that it is being made by the guys who left Starbreeze and Tigon consulting (which means Diesel will be as hands on with this as he was with the original).

Makes you wonder why Western developers even bother with Japan.  A top selling AAA game gets 27,000 copies sold, and that's likely the biggest sales they'll enjoy (in the first week)

So Rayman Wii U is close to 50,000 players ranked online, which is a good indication of the sales worldwide. Kind of pathetic even if you add thosands of non online copies to that number. But the good news is the number has been steadily climbing the past week. Maybe it can reach 100k one day.

One other thing regarding Legends sales, Origins only did 50K in its first month. It didn't start seeing sales until it started seeing price cuts.

There is no doubt this one will do better than Origins. I wonder how much more it will sell on 360 and PS3.
