Polygon COD: Ghosts XBONE better than PS4
Call of Duty: Ghosts suffers from consistent framerate drops on the PS4, especially during multiplayer when action got especially hectic. The Xbox One version suffered no such drops

Project CARS dev comments on Wii U tech
On the CPU side, WiiU also supports multi-threaded rendering that scales perfectly with the number of cores you throw at it, unlike PC DX11 deferred contexts which don't scale very well.

Shame, I was waiting for you.
Gracies is having a sale and she started stocking casino gambling furniture.
NPD came out yesterday, no one cared. Pokemon beat GTA.
True. Still when the time comes for you to get a PS4 you will have paid the same price I did unless you guys are waiting 2 years or so.
Happy Frigay!
No, this is perfect
Another flaw is that Vader will buy the PS5 on launch, while the rest of you are still enjoying your PS4s. So while you are playing and enjoying your PS4s, Vaders PS4 will be collecting dust, while he plays shitty games on the PS5 launch, because launch games are usually crap, with one or two exceptions. But it does not matter he can say he has owned the PS5 longer than the rest of you, even if it means he will buy games he would not normally buy!
That last sentence is the ugly truth. And I am not abandoning my old systems, I will be playing them just the same.
Still have my original PS2 and PS3 units, and I've logged at minium hundreds of hours on each. Only thing that killed my PS3 was Last of Us, but other than that it still works fine (though in summer does sound like a hair dryer).
You guys are showing your penis envy. I'm all for launch day buys. Cynical bastards.
But I'm also down with the wait it out gang.
I just upgraded my measly 2GB iPod Shuffle with a 16GB iPod Nano (7th gen). It's sooo nice to be able to put all of my music on the device at once, and it has a screen! It also comes with some vastly improved Apple Earpods too; far more comfortable than the Shuffles crappy earbuds, and the sound is waaaaaay better. Hells yeah!
I'm truly shocked the PS2 still works. I'm not as familiar with the PS3's and their longevity, but I've known very few people who managed to keep a PS2 going for more than 5 years.
Yeah, can;t explain it. And between me and the missus we've slogged that thing.
You must have an impeccably dust-free home.
Another GameUnder podcast? Sweet! You almost lost me during the theogical portion of last week's show (what do you want I almost went to seminary back in my college years), but I still managed to hang on and was glad I did. Looks like I have some listening material for tomorrow!
Yeah, it's an exhaustive disection of the FPS genre and this generation in particular. We also have a conversation about Call of Duty beyond the usual dismissive dude-bro putdowns.
You know at some point I need to try a COD game. I'm terrible at FPS, but I figure if the series has sold over a hundred million copies i'm probably obliged to try one out. I mean, at this point in my life I've drank Papst Blue Ribbon simply because other people due. Why not drop the same amount of dollars on an older CoD game?
