My launch PS2 only developed disc read errors a couple of years ago, and it just takes resetting it a few times to get the game to work. It's easily my most played console, and the disc drive has been flogged to hell due to the disc spinning required for exploiting Action Replay. The controls are still fine too, though R2 and L2 get stuck sometimes; it's just a violent hit or two and they're back in position and perfectly usable. One of them sounds like a Wii U controller, though.

Eventual PS4 purchase confirmed. Sooo glad Naughty Dog will be making Uncharted 4, and not someone else.

Hamster, you'll be very pleased to know, when you eventually get your PS4, Resogun will be right up your alley. It's pretty much Defender **Super** HD!
