This song is growing on me very quickly. Has a very "80's" vibe to it!

The chorus has a masculine Enya vibe.

Cant see the link.  Who is it?

Speaking of music, I finally downloaded a Starsailor album after nearly a decade of listening to " Way to Fall" from the MGS3 soundtrack.

Macroaxis: Sony Has 79% Chance of Going Bankrupt in the Next 2 Years

sony_firm_bw_logo_31013_1920x1080

According to Macroaxis, a financial engineering tool website that analyzes companies and determines their well-being, Sony Entertainment has a discouraging 79% chance of going bankrupt in the next 2 years. (You can go here if you want to learn more about Macroaxis and how they operate.)

“Based on latest financial disclosure Sony Corporation has Probability Of Bankruptcy of 78%. This is 182.34% higher than that of Consumer Goods sector, and 163.57% higher than that of Electronic Equipment industry, The Probability Of Bankruptcy for all stocks is 122.48% lower than the firm.”

368f0d42aaa83d013e9719f758e2ed95 600x236 Macroaxis: Sony Has 79% Chance of Going Bankrupt in the Next 2 YearsWhile it wouldn’t be factual to say that SNE will fail in the next 2 years (it’s all a guess), the 78.49% figure is based off of real, actual numbers. Many will consider this number overly inflated, but it all doesn’t sound too far-fetched when you take into consideration some of the things that have been happening over in Sony Land. Last year, Sony’s market value was slashed down to “junk” status, and they’ve sold multiple HQ buildings as well.

Not to mention, Sony still hasn’t recovered from all of the money they’ve lost on the PS3, and the Vita is still not profitable and isn’t selling as well as it should.

For comparative purposes, Macroaxis is stating that Nintendo has only a 22% chance of failing in the next 2 years, which is very ironic considering the fact that the majority of gamers and journalists online are always claiming that Nintendo is in imminent danger, when in reality Nintendo is very healthy and Sony is the actually the one closest to failing out of the console manufacturers. Microsoft is sitting off to the side with only 1% chance of failure.

Personally, I feel that Sony will be just fine and this is just a statistic, it doesn’t mean something will actually happen at the end of the day. I’ve been fully aware of Sony’s financial woes for the last 7 years (unlike most gamers) but at the same time, I feel that they are a smart enough corporation to turn things around. Let us know what you guys think down below.

That chart is made up from VGChartz data though. Not the most reliable information in the world.

That's why I said LOL, but:

“But, but, but... it's VGChartz!”

Well, here is where things get tricky because that is and is not a valid argument.

We interviewed the folks at VGChartz years ago to find out how they calculated cumulative sales data, and the owner explained the following...
“The figures on VG Chartz represent the entire market. I obviously don’t collect data for 100% of the market, but with the help of a few others behind the scenes we collect a sample of data and use scaling factors derived from analyzing historical data and estimating the extent and bias of our market coverage to arrive at our final figures.”

The estimates for the sales from VGChartz isn't far off from what was estimated for the sales of the Wii U in Japan, which moved 119,159 SKUs in the previous sales week. In fact, there's an error ratio to within five thousands units, which isn't perfect but still offers a good gauge on the overall sales data from the market.

In fact, if we decided to give the error in favor of the Xbox One – noting that perhaps Microsoft's new generation console could have sold 5,000 more SKUs over the Wii U, it would still put the Xbox One at 312,366 SKUs for the week ending on December 21st, with the Wii U still situated at 319,860. In other words: even purposefully scaling the numbers in favor of the Xbox One (with no recourse for the Wii U in the same measure) the Xbox One still falls short of the little Wii U that could.

Nintendo Enthusiast makes it known that the numbers are not concrete and that until we get the NPD and Media Create sales to back up the numbers, we can take the chart with a grain of salt.

Nevertheless, the numbers do seem to greatly represent the current buying trends of the market

Reminds me of the PS3 vs 360 sales debate, because 360 was selling best in NPD it got an overly positive image in the west while the PS3 got trashed a lot even when globally it was doing better because xbox doesn't sell in japan.

By the way, Bugsie, Picross e2 for the 3DS has a new mode you might find intriguing. It's called Micross. It plays like a traditional Picross where you still have your 10 X 10 or 15 X 15 grid. You'll solve a puzzle on this grid. This puzzle, though, is just an outline of an overall, more intricate design. Each of the spots you fill in on the original 10 X 10 or 15 X 15 grid, is ACTUALLY another Picross puzzle of it's own, solving THAT puzzle adds detail to the original, larger puzzle. Don't know if I explained that well enough, but suffice to say, it's cool! I think you'd REALLY like it!

^ In the above example, the Mona Lisa is actually comprised of 40 smaller Picross Puzzles!
