I bought a 4K tv. A cheaper one just for my room, I still don't plan to get pro so nothing too fancy. Part of a Black Friday deal under $300. My tv is ugly, I haven't been doing this gen justice.
I have to admit I'm still curious why he announced his departure. While I'm the first to say I wasn't thrilled to see political discussion here, there wasn't anything particularly inflammatory being said. And really as a topic it only lasted about two days. He wasn't the most prolific poster around here either. I was left wondering if it was I'm leaving this place or more of a "I'm leaving the internet" kind of statement.
At the end of the day we all get fed up with various outlets from time to time and need to take a break. Usually we come back. Hopefully he will.
In other, more delightful news, I have my Wii U back and I've rearranged the layout of my furniture in the living room. Now my couch is closer to the Wiimote sensor by about 3 to 4 feet. Why is this a big deal? Because now I can actually play Trauma Center again. My hand tremor still makes getting great scores difficult (not impossible mind you), but the closer distance makes everything playable for me. I already finished the first surgeon's missions, and will tackle another one this week.
Oh and I forgot to comment on this. I'm really hoping this is true. During the Wii's lifespan I became very fond of the Rabbids, though in typical Ubisoft fashion they did get mismanaged and leaned on way too much as a new IP. If Nintendo is helping out I'll actually have raised expectations for the game.

Nintendo is suppose to be producing it.
I wonder which team is developing it and which style of RPG it will be.
I was thinking since Ubisoft handled "South Park and the Fractured But Whole" in house after the Stick of Truth was developed by Obsidian. I figured it would be similar to those games which was basically similar to Paper Mario.

I didn't even know he announced anything. Why would you leave over political crap? People take politics and religion way too seriously.

I feel your pain. Our couch is about 5 meters away from our telly. I usually play games sat in a chair halfway the TV and the couch. Or I just put the sensor bar on a small stool in the middle of the room. Also, Trauma Center on Wii rocks.

I didn't understand. Maybe I'd missed something since I didn't always have net access? I was posting from GAP and Macy's free Wi fi. I don't get what Trump has to do with the vgpress?

I'd prefer a Rabbids Go Home sequel or a Mario gta game made by the Lego City team.
Bethesda Todd Howard says the Switch E3 demo was one of the best he'd ever seen and that they are definitely supporting it. He also seemed to hint he couldn't say everything because of nda.

If only it played Street Fighter...
It's $299; which is what I'm paying for the Uncharted 4 PS4 bundle.
When I saw the price you said I thought there is no way it's that cheap.

I got the link from eurogamer. There's an additional $100 off if you check out with the code AMEX. Or at least there should be.
edit: Ok, I tried it, and when you fill in the coupon, it says 'this code has expired'.

Ubisoft Developing Rabbids & Mario Crossover RPG

If only.
Damn it you already own the system. Write them a letter and make it happen.
I already tried. I even tried to bribe them with a Loonie, a Toonie, a bottle of maple syrup, and a coupon for Tim Horton's. It was a no go.
I didn't even know he announced anything. Why would you leave over political crap? People take politics and religion way too seriously.
I saw Bugs' post saying he was leaving, but I didn't take it literal. I'm guessing he's just absent by coincidence rather than by conviction.

Perhaps Bugsy is Hillary Clinton?
