I talk to people off the record (which means I'll respect that they would want to remain private) - been in the industry for a while so I know a few peeps here and there. But the general vibe ranges from cautious optimism to genuine excitement. Which is good for the industry on a whole. Switch will get more convincing third party support than Wii U. Milage may vary, and that first year will be crucial, but it won't be as bad as people fear. There's a reason Nintendo is stacking the deck with triple A ports.
Anecdotally, I've been gaming for 34 years and working in the industry for 15, and the response to Switch from both inside and outside the industry has been overwhelmingly positive, more than Wii and far more than Wii U. Take in mind that the industry people I've spoken to have no obligation to be positive about it to me. It appears genuine. We'll see if the money backs it up.
Very cool news about Lego City Undercover making its way to the other platforms. I've been contemplating on picking this up for awhile now. Will definitely pick this up for the Xbox One.

Jerks.
I've been telling you tools to get it for years now.
Hopefully they get some AA and fix the frame rate. Seems a little late though for a port. Probably had an exclusivity period I guess.

All about the priorities man. At the time I had more interest in other games but when it was marked down cheaper as part of the Nintendo Selects lineup my interest was raised because the cost was less so it made it more affordable to fit in. If these ports come out at full price, which I doubt they will, then that would put it on the back burner again for me.
Lego City Undercover was great. Loading times sucked ass, but it was a lot fun. And fun fact, it was the first game that Robio Jr. ever completed. Can't say I'd really be interested to rebuy it since I still have a copy, but I do hope the response is good. I'd love to play a sequel.

I'm playing it now. It's on par with Lego The Movie The Game, because of the use of the Wii Pad, but damn those load times and checkpoints that make you start at the polce station everytime...
I have over 2 million "dollars" I've collected so far, is there a way to spend them? I am close to finishing it.
I've been playing Codename STEAM for the last week or 2. I can see how opinions are divided on the game. The graphical style is hard on the eyes, although it does not bother me at all. The gameplay is miles removed from thre clean precision of say advance wars, while 'reach the goal' is an odd win-condition that's already starting to wear thin, even more so given that there is no limit to how long you take to reach said goal. I find that I'm enjoying my play through, but that I'm also already wondering how long the campaign is, hoping that it's not over long.

Just ebay it on Wii U. Must be pennies by now.

Only way I'd buy it is if they implemented anti-aliasing, fixed the framerate and maybe improved the loading times. Could do with a couple new stages just for kicks.

The loading times didn't bother me much only because I flipped to the tv while it was loading and you could see how it was loading on the Upad screen. One of the things I wish I could do with Splatoon, when you're waiting for the lobby to fill up for a match.

Ummmm I don't really remember since it's been about 3 years since I've played it. Do you mean the smaller bricks that you collect? Those get used to build/unlock other cars and stuff like that.

Same here, been ages. I think you spend them in the police station basement, there are a couple of stands there to purchase vehicles and characters.

I prefer getting my games new plus I also prefer buying my stuff at brick and mortar stores, ordering online is kind of a last resort for me. Plus now that there will be an Xbox One version I'd rather get that one instead.
Hey now! Now, now, hey! Sending out C&D's to talented fans who spent hundreds of hours crafting such unoficial monstrosities like AM2 or Pokémon Uranium, all fair I say, but why must you take aim at those lovely folks who spent a few hours doodling non-convincingly erotic drawings? There are limits to what can be considered reasonable Nintendo.

If the Switch rumors about games are true it would have 4 open-world games in 6 months.

Shame on you Nintendo! Shame!
I am now the proud owner of a 1tb Gears of War Xbox One console.
That is all.
Actually, that is not all... Any suggestions from the other Xboners here for essential games?
