Did I tell you guys about my broken toe? Was taking care of the nephews, I was in charge, my sister and brother in law had a mini vacation and left me with them. Had to get one ready for baseball practice, he wouldn't listen and ran to a piano we have. I went to grab him off the bench and the bench got kicked down and crack right on my big toe. It was fractured, not a bad one thankfully, hurt like a mother for most of the day and I still took him to baseball. I've been wearing a special shoe since I went to the podiatrist, should be healed in a few weeks.
Kids are dangerous!
In a few hours we are getting Zelda previews, could be a lot of new information. Also Jedi Survivor reviews, I am very excited for that! Also ROTJ back in theaters this weekend, I'm going. Big Star Wars weekend for me.
Damn kids.
Definitely excited for Jedi Survivor. Unfortunately, RotJ is not playing anywhere near me.
Worst is when you get the radiator pipe caught between your little toe.
Did anyone else watch the Indie Nintendo direct last week?
Some pretty cool stuff there.
He really changes the game up, and objectively I love it...but fuck him. There have been several moments where I'm hanging out in a relatively safe room that I've cleared of zombies and sort of caught up in my own thoughts trying to figure out what to do next. And I don't hear his footsteps or the theme music subtly playing in the background until it's almost too late.
Your toe is a wuss Vader. When my kid had his toe fractured, it took a whole metal soccer goal toppling over to break it. Regardless, I wish you a swift recovery.
X gonna give it to ya.
And how did it fall? Missed penalty?
Umm, what?
Lol, GG. I think you meant goal, unless you mean...
I FOUND A BROWSER THAT HAS MY PASSWORD!
I hate it when kids in cleats run to one of our pianos! Especially when I am in charge!
Now my question is how a goal bar was so badly placed that it could collapse on a person's foot.
Very minimal interaction, but the problem is that if the story isn't compelling enough I'm just not motivated to play them through.
It's like I have to either abandon them or push through. And I can't abandon a game unless it's either a bad game, a boring game or a game that's frustrating enough to go f*** itself.
Does anyone have any experience with GOOD visual novels?
The Japanese ones never get sales deep enough to tempt me. And the Chinese ones I'm a bit wary of.
Oh gawd. The whole game comes down to a fractious relationship between two gal pals.
Despite the greater things at play the whole games premise and ending is two catty gals vs each others feelings.
What I find more annoying is that the game barely has any interactive elements. So when you have choices to make the game doesn't even allow you to select the options on screen.
Sometimes it's so boring you want to see what would happen if you select a more exciting dialogue choice. Then the game won't even let you choose them.
So after I finished the game I reloaded my save to do the climatic decision differently to see where things went.
Only when I tried to select the opposite choice, it wouldn't let me. Frigging great!
This is huge news!
Wow! I had no idea!
Agreed. Some people only see what they want to see. There’s obviously a connection to StarTropics though. That’s just a scientifically proven fact.
