Poor word choice, I meant Tim Burton-esque.
Retarder get!
Now my airbrush-HapticMaster combo will make you all retarded.
yeah it almost uses the "nightmare before christmas" font. looks really good though, i totally love stuff like that. reminded me of grim fandango too in some of the character designs. this has my interest now

There we go! Perfect score for DQ IX! No shock there. Now if SE would just get off their ass and give the release dates for the rest of the world, all would be good. Really hoping for before the end of the year. Just seems like it would be perfect to play on Christmas morning while ignoring the kids.
for as long as my wii works i think i will always play super mario galaxy on christmas morning. seems the perfect game for the occasion. oh wait, this year i'll be in rome on christmas ... damn no galaxy, and no animal crossing either, shit i just realised i'll miss all the festivities

Animal crossing is life Bugs
It did nothing for me.
It's rough, but I do like the style of the new Final Fantasy DS game. IT's very different than what SE usually does, particularly with the FF series. I may have to put this on my radar.
Too bad Valkyrie Chronicles didn't sell better, I thought it looked like a very cool game. I would have bought a copy but I don't have a PS3, yet. I guess a 360 version is out of the question. I guess I could try to find a copy and pick it up now because I do plan on getting a PS3 eventually.
That's refreshing news. I read those new Famitsu reviews this morning.
And yeah, I hope this game comes here soon. But don't we need DQVI first? I'd love to have the entire DS collection.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
I don't think we need to get DQ VI first. The stories aren't related as DQ VI is part of the Zenithian Trilogy while IX stands alone on its own. VI could seem a little disappointing if it was released after IX, but then again it's a very different game with a strong story and characters. Either game would be nice to have. Obviously fans of the series have been waiting for DQIX for a while, but VI is very unique as it never had a full fan translation even in ROM format.
No DLC For GT PSP
"We're planning on having 800+ cars right out of the box, which is pretty much a lifetime's worth of racing. With that sort of breadth and reach of options, having DLC would be like tossing water into the ocean," Chris wrote
Wait--that means I'd have to buy a PSP.
A portion of an interview from The Wiire with hacker hetoan2...
The Wiire: First, how did you discover these loopholes in the game? How easy was it to modify the game?
hetoan2: I discovered these loopholes in the game by using a device to dump the data from the wii, remote debugger, and GeckoOS (a homebrew program) to search and create the codes. The process is simple really, just using a bunch of searches on changes on in-game variables, and once you find where they're stored you can rewrite the code to make it do what you want, or you can write your own code to make it do what you want.
Everything is virtually unprotected. All values can be edited fairly easily, and there's virtually no sign of an attempt at hiding values, fixing bugs, or preventing online hackers. The online codes are identical to the offline versions because the offline game is the same as the online version. The only difference is in the online mode the game sends the variables in real-time to their server. Keep in mind that there are NO server checks. (If the value instantly changes abnormally, usually the server will boot you from the game or make you desync from the other players).

This kind of crap is a big reason why online gaming sucks, IMO.
true it's only worth playing against people you know and trust

Agreed.
For a while, I thought I could get into online leaderboards, because it would be like a worldwide arcade high score list. Unfortunately, after seeing some of the impossible track times listed in Mario Kart Wii, I knew that dream was over. Cheaters suck.
Wow....Pac-Man and Grand Theft Auto are exactly the same!
"People said to me that GTA was just like Pac-Man — he eats the dots, while you drive over the dots in GTA. The police chase you like the ghosts in Pac-Man." - original GTA designer David Jonesthat's disrespectful, it's like saying halo wars is the same as chess
