Uncharted 2 arrived.  Yay!

However I find myself resisting playing the game right away because I haven't finished the first game.  I know, I'm silly that way.

The problem is I played the game on a friend's PS3 so my progress is not on my console, and unlikely that it still is on his.  I got up to the point where you enter a kind of temple after all the jet ski upstream sections, maybe even a bit further.  Was there long to go until the end after that?  Should I just try and forget about it and get started on the sequel?
