Sad bunny, I watched the No More Heroes Red Zone trailer and looked at the pics.
The game has a few bosses from NMH2 but not the actual settings or levels from the boss fights which was half the fun. Instead you fight them in a large empty cage:
You guys should check out the Sonic pics in the updates. Green Hill zone stuff.
Also, Gamespot's Conduit 2 review makes it sound good, strangely. They even praise the level design.
I'm morbidly fascinated with this game, in the way a child pokes a turd with a stick to see if anything happens.
EDIT:
Watch the video review - they made it like Duke Nukem, there's some funny stuff there.
"When the story begins, it's impossible to tell if it's a serious attempt to relay the plot of another alien-themed conspiracy cover-up, or if it's making fun of genre cliches. Mr. Ford is a surly, take-no-guff protagonist, and his guttural growls make it easy to dismiss him as another run-of-the-mill tough guy. But it soon becomes apparent that you aren't meant to take this goofy story seriously, and the outlandish plot provides more than a few laugh-out-loud moments. Take, for example, the taunting words of one late-game boss. After you shoot him in the head for nearly 10 minutes, he bellows at you that he's through negotiating. In another amusing exchange, Ford questions why the architecture of the building he's in seems to repeat. Your helpful friend responds that time and money force designers to reuse assets, just like in video games. It's moments like this that make it easy to just relax and enjoy the show. Conduit 2 isn't particularly smart or insightful, but it has enough silly banter to make the story enjoyable."
What is No More Heroes Red Zone?
I wish Suda would just go ahead and make No More Heroes 3. I would break my non-gaming hiatus to play that immediately. Or at least another proper Suda game. I don't understand all the sucking up and hero worship to Kojima etc

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Basically No More heroes 1 released on PS3 and 360 in Japan - it was bugged and crappy and had looooong loading times. So they added move support and a few token bonus features for the US release. Now the Red Zone is the US version, now coming to japan. It's the first game and from what I can remember it has some cutscene stuff which is exclusive, probably a digital comic and a few bosses from NMH2 but it looks like you fight them in a challenge arena type thing. An enhanced version of No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise is coming to PlayStation 3 in Japan. The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed No More Heroes: Red Zone Edition.
Rated CERO Z, it’ll utilize the PlayStation Move controller, add five bosses from No More Heroes 2, ten missions not included in the original Wii version, a boss battle and ranking mode, and a “forbidden view” mode.
We’re assuming Red Zone Edition is the upcoming international version of Heroes’ Paradise localized for Japan. This is because back in November, Konami confirmed the North American version of the game to have extras not included in the original Japanese release, including bosses from No More Heroes 2.
No More Heroes: Red Zone Edition is out on July 21, 2011 in Japan. It’ll go for 3990 yen. The western release of No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise, which includes all the content in the Red Zone Edition, is out for PlayStation 3 this summer.
SUDAs next proper game is a game made with Mikami that is a RE4 clone: Shadows of the Damned. Try typing it into our news search box.
Also he is doing this Kinect evil circus game but we only have FMV.
Starfox 3DS has tilt controls.
That aint going to be pretty. You will lose the 3D effect. Hope it's optional.
Also this is Mario 3DS's new logo.
This is your once in a lifetime opportunity to prove me wrong. But you will fail, like you always do.

Sony isn't afriad of a little coffee stain? For a Japanese company, I have to say, Sony come out with some of the most childish & immature comments of ANY major company I've seen. Microsoft was pretty bad around the time Xbox 1 came out, but they've since mellowed quite a bit. Sony on the other hand never change.
No way that's real. It looks too cheesy and it looks small which a console that powerful cannot be.
I wouldn't mind ports of some of the great games from this gen early in the consoles life, just to get it going. Solid ports that give the developers a chance to learn the hardware wouldn't be bad. Ubisoft could do a Tom Clancy collection type thing with all the Ghost Recon/ Rainbow Six games, Assassins Creed Collection, etc.
However, if they just port a bunch of crap, or do a sloppy porting job, then I would enforce strict penalties against them if I were Iwata.
Metroid Prime 3 actually outsold Prime 2. And Sakamoto should not be allowed to write anything Metroid related ever again. Other M story was almost MGS bad.
I'd also love to see ports of games like Resident Evil 5, which I fully expect with the popularity of RE on Nintendo consoles (I'd also expect to see the HD versions of RE4/CV). Metal Gear Solid 4, especially with 3DS getting MGS3. Bioshock series, Final Fantasy, Batman AA, etc.
Iga, can you give me a few +1's? I'm itching to hit 100....

Oh man I forgot all about Witcher 2. That 1st game was incredible....this is a must buy.
The games have all been great though. People would rather buy wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am FPS instead though.
I plused you Mr 100.
I can't get that excited for ports unless they are stuff that is unavailible to me. So I don't own a PS3, so stuff which isn't on Wii60 being ported would be okay-ish.
This is not the final design, this unit does not have a working drive or final parts. The unit powers on and is an internal test kit that is no longer being used because more complete units have now been distributed. The design is close to what we will see at E3. The colour scheme does not necessarily reflect that of the final model either.
My source said that the photo was taken by a friend of his who sent the picture to him. His friend does not work directly for Nintendo, but she “has access to early kits.” Lastly, he told me that the final kit will probably be thinner and more detailed.
With this many images of what is clearly the same console, coming from all of these different sources, I’m starting to think that they may be the real deal, after all. What do you think?
Update: DaimyoNintendo pointed out in the comments that judging by the size of the cables, it’s nowhere near the size of an Xbox 360 (though you should note that that’s only rumoured, too).
I think some of the problem with Metroid is Nintendo's marketing of it, or lack of. Their marketing for Echoes was horrible, as was Corruption. Prime 1 had great marketing and nice hype build up, likely because they thought they had to put extra effort (read: normal effort for most companies big games) into marketing a franchise rebirth.
They think they can just let Metroid market itself like Mario or Zelda, and it doesn't work that way.
Hey, Lucasarts? That's a name that hasn't meant jack shit in the past 5 years. I can't think of anything they've done, other than KOTOR MMO.
Iwata - Many people want the 3DS, but they don't believe that now is the time to buy
It is clear from our market research that many people feel that they "want" and "want to buy" Nintendo 3DS, and the latest demand for this device is the largest in comparison with our previous new platforms at the time of their launches, but on the other hand, there is a big proposition that not that many people believe "Now is the time to buy it!" The penetration will not gain speed without overcoming this challenge. After all, the way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate "what kind of games can be played," as long as Nintendo 3DS is a gaming device. There might be consumers who are interested in Nintendo 3DS, but they are unable to find software which they want to play, and they are in the "wait-and-see mode." - Satoru Iwata
I get this feeling too and I own the system. I'm sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for better games to play. And the system is expensive as it is.
Not sure how I feel about Rhythm Heaven wii with just button support. It will be more accurate than waggle that's for sure but I liked the touch screen stuff on DS. I know it used to be a gba game.
Also I hear NST are making it? Or is that wrong?
