I am playing two games right now, and greatly enjoying both.

  • Grand Theft Auto 5

Grand Theft Auto V Boxart

This game is not a revolution from the GTA formula you know in any way, but is BETTER than GTA 4 in every possible way so far. Missions are hilarious and better set up, the level design is worlds better and more interesting, getting away from the police is better executed, and the graphics are a big step up. Actually, there is one area its not better....the radio. Its ok, but not as interesting as past games. I am definitely loving the game so far. Love how you switch between characters at any time too.

  • Assassins Creed 4

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Boxart

I could say all the same things I just said about GTA5, about AC4 as well. Its just a much better designed game than any AC since AC2. In every way. Love playing it with the PS4 controller, and its a very pretty game. Water effects are especially great.

How about you muthafuckas?

I went skiing once and the temperature got down to -5.  I thought my nuts were gonna freeze and break off like icicles.

Nintendo should support the Wii U for as long as it will sell, and then ditch the home console market entirely. They should then put their full support into their portable consoles. In my opinion, that's what they should have done after the Wii. Now they are stuck supporting another home console that only a few people actually want.

This might be the most moronic thing you have ever said. And with your history of saying stupid stuff, this is quite an achievement.

According to you Nintendo should not made a new console after they just made their best selling console ever? Yeah that make perfect sense. Please explain the logic in that!

I finished Phoenix Wright so I've moved over to:

Dr. Luigi... where the online community has been very kind to point out that I'm genuinally terrible at this game.

And Minecraft. Now that I've figured it out it's kind of fun. Sadly though I had to have my daughter explain to me how to do everything. Once your kids start explaining games to you, it's time to hang it up right?

Oh and it's going to be 80 degrees (26 C) here this afternoon. Unfortunately tomorrow night things get ugly and the temperature will drop below freezing. I'm still not sure how it can do it that fast.

I've gone back to my roots by playing the first big breakthrough game I ever created, Pac-man. Yes THAT Pac-man.

What have you power-pellet chompers been up to?

Well thanks for asking ShiggyM.

I've mostly been playing CoD Ghosts and Forza 5. Recently downloaded Sleeping Dogs on 360 and played a little of that. Seems pretty cool.

How is Forza 5, Archie? I heard a lot of bad things about content being locked behind paywalls.

I've mostly been playing Diablo III. I just reached the final boss in Act II, with my Level 26 Demon Hunter. I also started a Wizard character for Hardcore mode (Hardcore = permanent death).

I have also gathered enough stars to unlock Bowser's castle in SM3DWorld, but haven't gotten around to fighting him yet.

It seems ok to me. A little light on the number of tracks, could have used a few more from the get-go. It really doesn't feel all that grindy to me though in regards to getting money to buy new cars. I've been enjoying the online a lot more then previous versions for some reason. The Drivatar feature works really well and racing against those in your friends list and other "real" people definately gives single-player racing a different and better feel then the previous games' AI drivers. The rumble feature on the trigger buttons adds quite a bit to a game like thisas well.

I've finished Duck Tales this past week and enjoyed my time on the open seas in Assassin's Creed IV.

Assassin's Creed IV is a really good game but the awful A.I. has kinda ruined it for me. I've seen rocks with better A.I. I'll play it some more once I'm done with Diablo III.

That's good to hear. Forza 5 is one of the few XB1 games I'd be interested in getting, but the complaints of being forced to grind for 5 or 6 hours just to buy one new car unless you buy real-money tokens sounded awful.

ACIV is my first AC game, so I can't say. On PS4 it's much more detailed than any PS3 game I've played, though, and it has some very nice lighting and a smooth framerate.
